Fee:
$180 per 50 min session (sliding scale available based on need). An invoice can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance company.
About:
Marci’s work as a therapist comes from the abundant healing, growth, and transformation that she experienced in her personal life. Marci’s own understanding of loss and healing led to her passion in working with others to experience the hope of growing through the pains of this life. Marci enjoys working with adolescents, individuals, and couples. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identify formation, parenting, divorce, life stage transitions, and relational distress.
Marci creates a safe atmosphere to explore feelings and understand connections between the mind, body, and spirit. Marci’s approach is relational, believing that healing comes from cultivating the therapeutic relationship and exploring areas of woundedness, to find acceptance, wholeness, and restoration. She enjoys inspiring positive change to create strong, fulfilling relationships. She is passionate about partnering with those who are hurting or stuck in destructive patterns. Marci’s work is collaborative and together she helps her clients to set goals that are attainable, both short term and long term.
Marci appreciates and honors diversity as she seeks to understand the client’s inner world as well as their family history. To support her work with couples Marci is certified to use Prepare and Enrich, a comprehensive assessment tool used in both pre-marital and marriage therapy. She is also trained in the work of John Gottman Marital Therapy, one of the preeminent researchers in couples therapy. She is also trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Marci is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Soul Restoration Project. She completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach and has a Teaching Credential in Secondary Education.
