About

Whether you've been working on issues for some time or are just starting this wonderful inner journey, I am here to guide you. With 11 years of experience in public high schools, outpatient substance abuse, homelessness, and in-patient adolescent eating disorders, you’ll be well taken care of if you decide to work with me.

I specialize in treating individuals impacted by trauma, sex addiction, and those in the LGBTQ+ and Asian American communities. I'm certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting Therapy. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT). As your therapist, I will employ various techniques such as those listed above, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), to help you recover from trauma, regulate your emotions, and "move past your past."

As a 2nd generation Korean-American, I've lived in Texas, South Korea, San Diego, and now Orange County. I speak English and some Korean, and my diverse background helps me understand how culture shapes our values, family dynamics, and relationships.

As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and Rainbow Advocate and Educator (RAE), I support wellness for all gender and sexuality spectrums. I welcome clients of any faith and oppose any form of reparative or conversion therapy.

My clients experience me as a compassionate, warm, and collaborative therapist with a keen ability to hold sacred space amidst their unique life circumstances. I hope we have the opportunity to connect, and I look forward to journeying with you towards health and wholeness!

What I Do in My Free Time

In my spare time, I’m an avid foodie and regularly explore the food scene in SoCal. I also frequently stroll down the aisles of Costco, vacation at new destinations several times a year, find the best boba spots, bust out of escape rooms, bargain hunt, watch live theater, watch movies at a Regal cinema, or enjoy a laughter-filled game night with friends.
