About

I believe every session is a sacred space—a place to explore your life, personality, history, and everything that makes you uniquely you. In this safe and curious environment, you can begin to notice what matters most to you. True growth, I believe, is slow growth, usually achieved within the context of a safe, trusting relationship.

The desire to create such sacred spaces led me to become a professional therapist. In the therapy room, you'll feel understood, valued, and accepted. I ask intentional questions and offer reassurance that it’s “okay not to be okay.” The safe space I provide allows you to naturally find answers to some of your most difficult questions, helping you feel comfortable being “in the in-between.”

I integrate attachment and trauma-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic approaches. My goal is to help you develop a more honest view of yourself and others, using that knowledge to create a sustainable and healthier lifestyle—emotionally, physically, relationally, spiritually, and intellectually.

Having previously worked in full-time Christian ministry, I am also passionate about the health and well-being of ministry leaders. I utilize a holistic and integrative approach and, upon request, can integrate Christian spirituality with today’s best evidence-based therapeutic models.

What I Do in My Free Time

Outside of counseling, I love music in all its forms (both listening and playing numerous instruments), photography, painting, playing with my cats, comedy, CS Lewis, spending time in nature, and hanging out with loved ones.
