About

Therapy with me is a place to bring what is present and hold it with care and curiosity. We will notice what needs attention and give those parts of you space to explore. As we explore the present, moments from the past that need witnessing, processing, and integration will likely emerge, and we will give them the attention and respect they need.

I use Internal Family Systems as a therapeutic process to help make meaning of all the parts of you that you interact with each day. I enjoy being on a journey with you and your parts, getting to know each one, and understanding how they protect you in this life. From young parts to older parts, from that which plagues you to that which delights you, therapy with me will provide opportunities for healing and growth.

I view the work I do with you as the art created by the Japanese, called Kintsugi. A jar or vessel found with a flaw is deeply valued. Liquified gold is used amongst the cracks, which cultivates in a new creation; a deep embracing of the imperfections to create something strong and dynamically beautiful. I hold a fierce passion to know you and walk through the pain with you. Together we’ll work to create a safe internal world that will have a ripple effect throughout your external world.

What I Do in My Free Time

In my free time, you might find me painting, walking (preferably by the beach), and spending quality time with family and friends. When time permits, I love to travel.
